Puppet Pals

What does a dragon, a pig, a puppy, and a mouse have in common? If you guessed that they are all puppets that you can make in a poetry worskhop, you're right!  During this workshop puppets and poetry will be a playful combination. Join Ms. Lafrentz and Mrs. Stevenson to discover the world of sock puppets. Let your creativity and imagination transform a tube sock or colorful knee-high into a fire breathing dragon, a perky pig, a cuddly puppy, or a bouncing mouse. In our time together, you will make a puppet and read a fun and energetic poem about your special pal. At the end of the worskhop, your puppet pal and the poem will go home with you. You may even have time to write your own poem.

All supplies will be provided. Just bring your smile and be ready to have some fun!

Adults, please plan to stay to help your child with planning, simple stitching, and the hot glue gun.
