Lesa Cline-Ransome and James Ransome
An award-winning husband and wife combination, Lesa Cline-Ransome and James Ransome, will be speaking to our 4th and 5th grade classes. Lesa is the author and James is the artist of several well-received works of historical fiction. Lesa and James will share their stories and art on Monday, March 17 - fresh from their appearance at the Tucson Festival of Books.

Susan Lowell
Susan Lowell, an award-winning local author whose books are known and loved worldwide, will be bringing a special bilingual presentation to our Kindergarten and Spanish Immersion 1st and 2nd grade classes. Susan is a returning author and we are excited to announce her return to our Love of Reading celebration.

Jillian Cantor
Our 3rd and 4th grade students are in for a sprecial treat as our own author/parent Jillian Cantor (mother of two VVE students!) visits our school on Tuesday, March 18. Jillian is the author of books for adults and young adults and will speak about her experiences as a writer and the craft of writing.
INCREDIBLE SPECIAL GUEST
Stephanie Pearmain
Stephanie Pearmain, author of Animal BFFs, Extraordinary Ties Between Unusual Friends, will speak to our 1st and 2nd grade classes about her journey as a writer. Students will love her inspirational stories about friendship. Stephanie's visit will be Thursday, March 13.
